Brett Albright is an award-winning cinematographer based in New York City. In his 25 year-career, he’s worked in 16 countries and 45 states – from the peak of Mt. Etna to the desert of Death Valley – and in living rooms across New Jersey. Originally from the Midwest, Brett found his way to New York through NYU’s Tisch Film School, making his professional debut as a camera assistant on iconic works like Sex and the City and The Sopranos. As a freelance cinematographer, he’s shot everything from bio-luminescent spiders in the Amazon to backstage at NY Fashion Week, for more than two dozen networks and well over 500 hours of programming – in every budget range. Brett brings his passion for lighting to everything he does – from corporate shoots to music videos – and his reputation as the coolest head on set has earned him the respect of showrunners, directors, and crews. When not on set, Brett can be found on his bike, training for duathlons, or at home with his wife and young son Henry.
